Privacy Policy — TodayFit
This Privacy Policy describes how TodayFit ("we", "the App") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Location (used for core functionality)
With your permission, the App accesses your approximate location (latitude and longitude) to:
- Provide weather and "feels-like" temperature for your current location;
- Power the travel outfit comparison feature.
We do not track or store your location history. Location data is sent with a single weather API request and discarded after use; it is not persisted in any database.
1.2 Camera and Photo Library (only when you choose to upload)
When you upload clothing photos via the "Wardrobe" feature, the App requests camera or photo library access.
- Only photos you actively capture or select are processed;
- Uploaded photos are stored in our cloud storage solely so you can view and manage your wardrobe across your devices;
- Photos are never used for facial recognition, identity association, or any third-party marketing.
1.3 Device Identifier
The App generates an anonymous Device ID (UUID) on first launch to:
- Associate your wardrobe entries with this installation;
- Help us troubleshoot issues when you submit feedback.
This ID is not linked to your real identity (no name, phone, email), is not used for cross-app tracking, and is not the IDFA.
1.4 Server Logs
For service reliability, our server keeps access logs (IP address, request time, status code) for no longer than 30 days.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect: name, phone number, email, contacts, message history, health data, payment data, IDFA, or advertising identifiers. The App does not integrate any third-party advertising or behavioral tracking SDK.
3. Third-Party Services
To provide weather data, the App sends your location (lat/lon) to the following services:

These services only receive the minimum data needed (location or photo) and do not receive any personal identity information.
4. Data Storage & Security
- All client-server communication is encrypted with HTTPS;
- Databases are hosted by the cloud providers listed above and follow their security practices;
- We apply reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.
5. Your Rights
You can at any time:
- Revoke location permission in System Settings (you can still pick a city manually);
- Revoke camera or photo permission in System Settings;
- Delete wardrobe entries from the "Wardrobe" screen inside the App;
- Request deletion of all your data by contacting us at the email below; we will complete the request within 15 business days.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that a child has provided personal information without parental consent, we will delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we will notify you in the App or on our website and update the effective date.
