Install Call Pet on two phones
Use an iPhone or iPad running iOS/iPadOS 13 or later as the Controller, plus a compatible Monitor device kept at the shop. Android supports Monitor mode only.

Open the Controller for live encrypted video when both networks permit direct WebRTC P2P. Use two-way audio only in accordance with local notice and consent rules.

Can I record video for evidence if there's a break-in? +
Call Pet does not provide cloud recording or automatic evidence capture. Pro users can manually record on the Controller, and that file stays only on the Controller device. For continuous or evidentiary recording, use a system designed for that purpose and follow local notice and retention rules.
Does it work in low light when the shop is closed? +
Phone cameras need some ambient light. Leave a low-power LED on at night, or position the phone near a window with streetlight.
Can multiple staff members watch the same shop camera? +
Each pairing is one Controller to one Monitor. For shared viewing, staff can take turns pairing with the same Monitor.
Is this enough security for a shop with cash or inventory? +
Call Pet is a remote live-view tool, not an alarm, deterrent, or continuous evidence system. Choose locks, alarms, and recording equipment according to the shop's risk and legal requirements.
Can the Monitor keep working while the phone is locked? +
No. Keep Call Pet in the foreground on the Monitor standby page. The display can be darkened or set to low brightness, but locking the device or moving the app to the background is not supported.
